How does it work
For instance, the system ui application of your ROM contains an icon named ic_qs_circle.xml, and the overlay contains an icon with the same name. As a result, upon activation, the system utilizes resources from the overlay. That's pretty much all you need to know.Â
Non-destructive (can be enabled or disabled at any time, keeping original files intact)
Broad compatibility, specifically, any A8+ AOSP/LOS based ROM, although in the future, there will be improved compatibility with OEM ROMs, but this is still a work in progress.

I test every single release on my two phones and an emulator, so if something doesn't work on your phone it's your vendor's issue, and you'll have to report it for me to fix it
